Drone Aerial Photography

Drones, or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), are essentially flying robots. They are probably best known for military applications but, in recent years, they have become increasingly used for commercial purposes—Home/building inspection is one.

The drone can be deployed very quickly and capture the necessary footage in hard-to-reach places much faster than a human could. A typical drone flight can be completed in 5 to 20 minutes depending on the size of the building.

The high definition images provide the closeup evidence regarding the conditions of the roof, chimney, flashing, vents, skylights and other “above sight line” structures.

Thermal Imaging

Infrared (thermal imaging) is an advanced, non-invasive technology that allows the inspector to show clients things about their homes or buildings that can’t be revealed using conventional inspection methods.  Ancillary inspection reports are just as important as the reports  generated for standard inspections.  For something as specialized as a thermal imaging inspection, it’s critical that the information presented meets the clients’ needs for information they can use and act on.

Termite Inspection

Termites are very destructive wood eating organizations and can compromise:

  • Wooden elements of construction in basements and crawl spaces
  • Window sills and frames (particularly in the basement), support posts, sub floors, supporting piers, joists, and wooden decks or porches.
  • Areas where concrete elements meet wood, such as steps, slabs, or porches
  • Cracks in brick construction, expansion joints, or cement where termites might have gained entry
  • Wood piles and debris near the foundation including tree stumps, exterior basement window and door frames, and fence posts.

We primarily work with Cooks Pest Control to provide a free termite bond quote.
